March 18 at the Olympic Stadium in South Korean Pyeongchang started the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games.
Russian athletes at the Games played in neutral status and finished in the unofficial team classification in second place, losing only to the US team and having won a total of 24 medals: eight gold, ten silver and six bronze. At the same time, only 30 athletes and 6 leading athletes from Russia were admitted.
A significant part of the medals in the treasury of Russians under the neutral flag brought biathletes and skiers.
Our Paralympic heroes return from Pyeongchang.
In total, 567 athletes took part in the Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang. They played 80 sets of awards in mountain skiing, biathlon, skiing, snowboarding, curling and sledge hockey.
The flag of the International Paralympic Committee was officially handed over to the delegation from China during the closing ceremony . The next Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in 2022 in Beijing.
