The artist draws a character every day for a huge fight scene. There are already 73 heroes in the picture

British artist, director and animator Tom Gran (Tom Gran) from January 1, 2018 creates a picture with a fight of cartoon characters one character per day. It shows battles between sorcerers, animals, fantastic creatures, athletes and other unexpected heroes.

Hey so through 2018 I'm gonna do a drawing challenge where every day I add another character to a giant fight scene until it gets so giant I probably won't even be able to upload it to Twitter anymore. Here goes: pic.twitter.com/hSd8kyOii0

Hey so through 2018 I’m gonna do a drawing challenge where every day I add another character to a giant fight scene until it gets so giant I probably won’t even be able to upload it to Twitter anymore. Here goes:

“Hey, I accept the challenge and in 2018 I will make a drawing where every day I will add another character to the gigantic scene of the fight until it becomes so gigantic that I probably can not even upload it to Twitter”

The first character of the huge picture was a girl in a cowboy hat, who kicked a bald man with nunchakami.

It is not known yet when Gran plans to finish the canvas. In an interview with Bored Panda, he admitted that he was inspired by the artist Anthony Clark , who conducted the “Drawing a Day” experiment and regularly created canvases over the past few years.

Several times I forgot to draw a new character and had to add them a few seconds before midnight.

It’s hard not to repeat the ideas and poses of the heroes. And my favorites are ghost-babies, who hold a sign at the top of the picture. They are cool.
