The United States has blamed Russia for the poisoning of Skripal

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said that the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal “obviously proceeds from Russia” and “definitely will trigger a response. This is reported by The Washington Post.

According to Tillerson, he does not know whether the Russian government was involved in the poisoning. At the same time, he does not doubt that the substance that was poisoned by Skripal was brought from Russia.

Tillerson noted that the US has “full confidence” in the UK investigation and its assessment that Russia is responsible for the poisoning of Skrypal. He expressed the solidarity of Britain and noted that the countries will coordinate the actions.

Such an attack – an attempt to assassinate a private person on the territory of a sovereign state – can never be justified, and we are outraged that Russia appears to have taken up such behavior again.

The Russian embassy in the United States said that Washington and London have no evidence of Moscow’s involvement in the poisoning of Skrypal.

Unprecedented accusations of Russia in all sins continue to multiply. Today, another fake news about the alleged Russian trail in the tragic events in the UK has been thrown in. When will they learn to check facts first and then condemn?

In the evening of March 12, British Prime Minister Teresa May stated that the nerve agent “military level” that was poisoned by Skripal was “most likely” developed in Russia. May noted that the leadership of the British Foreign Ministry had already summoned the Russian ambassador for consultations.
