Art: Painted giants in the urban landscapes of Turkey

Artist and architect Hakan Keleş (Hakan Keleş) published on the site Bored Panda several drawings from his series “The Lilliputians.” According to him, Jonathan Swift’s novel “The Adventures of Gulliver” inspired him to create the series. However, in the works of Kelesch ordinary people appear as lilliputians, who seem tiny against the background of painted giants.

Before that, Kelesh published his series in Instagram, where he still adds new episodes. According to the architect, he copied many images from real people, and photographed his backs while traveling around Turkey.
