On February 24 and 25, American boxer Mike Tyson, along with Russian boxer Kostya Tszyu, visited the city of Korkino, Chelyabinsk region. First, the athlete came to kindergarten No. 32, which was opened by the Russian Copper Company, and then laid the foundation stone for the new sports complex.
Tyson was accompanied by the deputy governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Yevgeny Redin, and the vice-president of the RMK, Anna Shabarova. For the American boxer they had a children’s morning performance and told him about the construction of a new kindergarten.
Tyson and Tszyu together laid the first stone on the site of the construction of the sports complex. At the opening, the boxer said that he “eagerly awaits” when the construction is over and classes in the sections begin.
It is a great pleasure and honor for me to attend today’s event in Korkino and participate in the start of the construction of a new sports complex. It will be a grandiose object.
