The start was delayed for 45 minutes, while the guests did not turn off Wi-Fi.

On February 25, the Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana showed in Milan a new collection of handbags not using models, but on unmanned vehicles. The drones, to which the accessories were attached, flew into the hall to the music. They were ruled from behind the scenes.

Before the organizers asked the guests to turn off Wi-Fi on their smartphones, including stopping the “distribution” of the Internet. However, the task became more complicated, since the carriers appeared in a variety of languages.

After 45 minutes of waiting, one of the organizers began to pronounce in the loudspeaker nicknames of users who by that time had not turned off Wi-Fi. As noted by The Cut, he was like a school director, calling bullies into the office.

For the presentation of a new collection of handbags, the brand Dolce & Gabbana decided to surprise the audience: instead of girls accessories showed drones. The audience was not warned about an unusual show, so before the premiere of bags it was unclear why the organizers asked to turn off Wi-Fi on all devices.

It turned out that this was done for security reasons: as if many devices with activated Wi-Fi can cause interference in the operation of drones. The show was smooth: the drones did not fall and did not fly to the audience. The company was definitely able to surprise the public, and then the show went off in a more traditional way: new clothes were shown by people already.

Another part of the collection of Fashion Devotion (Autumn-Winter 2018-19), whose authors were inspired by Christian themes, became dresses, skirts, fur coats and swiss shots. While the drones did not learn how to demonstrate these wardrobe items, D & G took advantage of the models.
