A blow from the past. Presented by Nokia 8110 and Sirocco

The company HMD Global does not cease to play on the nostalgic strings of the soul of the once huge army of fans. Last year it was an updated Nokia 3310 phone , and this is the time of the legendary Nokia 8110 (the same “banana” from the “Matrix”) and the premium Sirocco line. There was a place for other novelties, but about everything in order.

Nokia 8110

The updated Nokia 8110, alas, can not be called a top-end device. Yes, it’s still a curved phone in the form of a slider, but the premium does not attract a premium at all. The device received a 2.4-inch display, a 2-megapixel camera, a Qualcomm 205 processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory, as well as support for LTE networks and a bunch of pre-installed “social” applications like Facebook and Twitter.

Among the technical features we note the presence of a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB of RAM and a 128 GB drive, a curved 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, a pair of 12 and 13-megapixel cameras with ZEISS optics and wireless charging.

Nokia 8110 is not even a smartphone and is based on a “stupid” phone firmware. But the device costs only 79 euros. Buy a piece of joy can be in May. In the sale will fall models of different cheerful colors.

Nokia 8 Sirocco

Much more interesting is the Nokia 8 Sirocco. This is a more advanced version of the flagship smartphone Nokia 8 , already available for sale. The novelty is made in a glass case with a frame made of high-strength stainless steel. It looks incredibly stylish!

In Nokia 8 Sirocco there is no headphone jack, and the thickness of the device is only 7.5 mm. Buy a smartphone will be in April for 750 euros in equivalent.

Nokia 7 Plus

Another novelty from HMD Global is the smartphone of the mid-range Nokia 7 Plus. As the name implies, this is an improved version of the existing “seven” . The model boasts an extended 6-inch display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels and the same system of dual cameras that Nokia 8 Sirocco has.

The device is running Android 8.1 Oreo Go, adapted for low-performance devices. There is a 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 854 × 480 pixels, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, and a modest processor from MediaTek.

In addition, the device received a Snapdragon 660 chip, 4 GB of operative and 64 GB of internal memory, a battery with a capacity of 3800 mAh and the current version of the OS – Android 8.0 Oreo. The manufacturer rated the device at 400 euros.

Nokia 1

But Nokia 1 and the truth is a novelty, and not a revised last year’s model. This is a budget smartphone costing less than 80 euros, which can also be bought starting in April.
