On February 13, The New York Times told about the participant of the US Olympic team on curling Tyler George (Tyler George). For eight years he performed in the same pair of shoes from the Skechers, which during this time had time to be worn out. Other members of the team called George’s shoes “disgusting” or, at best, confined to a short “Oh God.”The day after the report was published, NYT journalists suggested that a curlingist go shopping with one of their colleagues. Both the correspondent and the athlete found certain conditions.

Cacholla and George met in the city of Gangneung, where the Olympic curling competitions are held. Together they went to the shoe store, after which the athlete took some time to think. And Cacholla gave him a small entertainment program.
