Russian freestyler Ilya Burov received a bronze medal at the acrobatics competitions at the Olympics in Pyeongchang. Gold won the Ukrainian Alexander Abramenko, and silver – the Chinese Jia Tszunyan.
At the award ceremony, Russian and Ukrainian athletes embraced, wrapped in the Abramenko flag. Burov did not have a flag – the IOC forbade athletes from Russia to show it at the games of 2018.
Burov told “Sport Express” that he has a very good relationship with Abramenko – they are friends and constantly communicate. According to him, “their policy does not concern”.
