United Airlines plane lost engine cover and made an emergency landing in Honolulu

The liner Boeing 777 of United Airlines, which flew from San Francisco, made an emergency landing in Honolulu due to the fact that its legal engine flew off the hull.

On board flight 1175 there were 370 people. One of the passengers was Erik Haddad, an engineer from Google. He reacted to the situation ironically, captured the engine without a protective casing and stressed that he did not find what to do in such a situation in the safety note.

The press service of the airline stressed that its pilots followed all the necessary recommendations to land safely after the hull was lost. After a successful landing in Honolulu, rescuers and ambulances were sent to the airport as “precautions.”
