Specialists have developed the first fully autonomous system of nanorobots, which effectively fights against neoplasms in the body. This joint development of scientists from the University of Arizona and the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The idea of experts is that nanorobots less than a human hair point to the tumor, cutting off access to the circulatory system of the body. Thus, the neoplasm remains without recharge and ceases to expand.
Scientists say that this method of treatment is suitable for many types of cancer, because the principle of supporting tumors with vessels is approximately the same. The study so far is conducted only in mice: nanorobots have shown their effectiveness in combating breast, lung, melanoma and other similar diseases.
