The most daring architectural masterpiece of Azerbaijan
Heydar Aliyev Center – unikany beauty of the cultural center, built on Heydar Aliyev avenue in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. Is a complex structure that includes a convention center, a museum, exhibition halls, administrative offices.
Center project was designed in 2007 by architect Zaha Hadid. Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center (the third President of Azerbaijan) is considered to be a symbol of the modern Baku.
Construction of a cultural center
The territory now occupied the center, previously operated plant named Sattarkhan. The area of the plant was 16 hectares. The plant itself has been moved to another location, and September 10, 2007 was laid the foundation of the building.

During the construction of the building, a network of iron structures with a total length of 90 km. When you are installing a 4 hectare was used 12027 special panels of different sizes and, in the form of various geometric shapes – triangles, rectangles, trapezoids, parallelograms.
The white color symbolizes the bright future of the building and is used to isolate specific elements are present here. Thanks to the white color of the light beams move across the surface of the building stand out and emphasize the building.
In addition to the center’s building complex includes underground parking and a park, 13.58 hectares. The complex includes two ornamental pond and an artificial lake.
The main building of the center consists of three divisions: the Museum of Heydar Aliyev, the exhibition halls and the “Auditorium”. In the 9-storey department showrooms are located showrooms, administrative offices, a restaurant and coffee shop. Four-storey “Auditorium” consists of the congress center, two conference rooms, rooms for formal meetings and gatherings and Media Center. The building is designed as landscape area comprised of natural ornamental trees and flowers.
