Neuroscientists at the Institute of Neurology and human behavior (a division of the University of California at Los Angeles) in mice have established that the use of food intended for the sleep time adversely affects the ability of the brain to learning and memory formation. Nutritionists have known that the use of food at night when the body are important processes related to metabolism, leads to metabolic disorders and threatens the formation preddiabetnyh states. This protein is the most active stands in the daytime and at night its activity is significantly reduced. Thus the activity of suprachiasmatic nucleus – hippocampal responsible for circadian rhythms – the protein is not affected.Dissynchronization circadian rhythms in different parts of the brain and leads, according to scientists, a disruption of the normal memory formation. In addition, scientists have noted a violation of sleep rhythms in the experimental mice. Although the total number of hours per day spent by mice in a dream, is not changed, the quality of their sleep worse. They slept fitfully, a short period during the day and night.
