Plants cyborg. New polymer makes the cells of living plants in the electrical circuits and transistors
Scientists from the University of Linkoping failed to make electronic circuits inside the plant (roses). This technology opens up prospects for the crazy: remote “wiretapping” of agricultural plants; live sensors; direct immigration to electricity, which is produced during photosynthesis, without damaging the plants themselves; variety of medical devices for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and much more. “Now we can start talking about plants cyborg – now we can place different sensors and devices within the plants and use the energy that is produced with the help of chlorophyll, for growing new green antennae or other materials. Everything will happen by itself, and we will use the “advanced” internal components of plants for our own needs, “- said Magnus Berggren (Magnus Berggren) from the University of Linkoping (Sweden).
