Pivot Project by architectural firm Architecture Workshop PC is a pre-war reconstruction of the studio in New York. An updated interior provides space modern secret bedroom, living room, home office and kitchen. All this is within 37 square meters of open area of the apartment. Wooden decorative elements create different spatial experiences during use. From soothing white walls, the view switches to the lush interior of the tree.
Many pieces of furniture designs are multifunctional. Rotating the big wall cabinet creates two separate storage space. Each can be used independently of each other. Built on both sides of the bed are a great dressing. Extendable sofa allows guests to sleep in its own separate room. The kitchen has a rising storage boxes. Height-adjustable table can be used for a home office or as an extra surface during dinner with the guests. Compact toilet seats sink and shower with folding glass door. Versatile finishing structure blurs the distinction between architecture and furniture, creating a seamless combination of different functions, which are transformed in the interaction with tenants.
